Chandramandal ( coriander sweet chutney)


I have already posted this recipe before. Today I tried  Mitha’s version which is  little  different from my version.   Thanks to Mitha we all loved it.
 
 
 
Ingredients
Grated coconut                             ¼ cup
Green chilly                                    2
Red chilly                                        2
Coriander leaves                           2 tbsp
Tamarind pulp                               1 tbsp
Mustard seeds                               1 tsp
Raisin                                               1 tbsp
Jaggery                                            melted 2tbsp
Oil                                                     2 tsp
Curry leaves few
Method
Melt jaggery with water and strain and keep aside.
Grind grated coconut with, chillies, tamarind pulp, coriander leaves into fine paste. Add melted jaggery into coriander paste boil  then  it for 5 min.
Heat oil in a pan add mustard seeds, raisin and curry leaves for 2 min.
Pour this on boiled coriander mix.
Mix well. serve this as a side dish for lunch.
