Egg Burji

Egg                              3
Onion                           1big chopped
Tomato                        1 chopped
Red chilly powder       1tsp
Garam masala             ½ tsp
Pepper powder            1tsp
Coriander powder        1/2tsp
Jeera powder               ½ tsp           
 Oil                               1tbsp
Salt to taste

Method
Beat  egg in bowl and keep a side.
Heat oil in kadai  add onion fry  till it becomes light  brown and then add chilly powder, coriander powder, jeera powder fry for 2 min.  Add salt and chopped tomato  fry for 2 min then add beaten eggs mix it well cook this mix for 4 to 5 min then add pepper powder and turn  off the gas.  You can eat this with bread or make egg burji sandwich from this.

BROWN BREAD DAHI VADA


Dahi vada or mosaru  vade is a traditional south  Indian snack.  Mostly  this is prepared with urad dal and   fried in oil and soaked in  curd. Today I am going prepare healthy   dahi  vada using brown bread.  High in iron, minerals, Fiber  and vitamins. It’s a very quick recipe  if you  have green chutney and sweet chutney already prepared at home.  Mostly I prepare this chutneys and keep them in Refrigerator for 10 to 15 days.  I saw this recipe on my  friend Donna Pinto’s page  KKKMAKT and here I have tried some  slight variations from my side.  Thanks nirmala pai   for oil free recipe. 


Ingredients
Brown bread                     4 slices
Green chutney                 2 tbsp
Sweet chutney                2tbsp  (Dates and Tamarind chutney)
Fried jeera powder          ½ tsp
Curd                                 1 cup
Pani puri masala or
Chat masala                    1 tsp
 Method
Take One slice of bread and spread green chutney and another slice with sweet chutney and make sandwich of both in a sandwich maker and arrange them in a flat dish.
Beat   curd with salt,   pani puri masala  powder.    Pour   this on  sandwich  sprinkle jeera powder and left over chutney on top  and serve. This looks colour full and tasty and healthy too. 

Bread pakoda



Bread pakoda is  a  tasty street- snack  available  all over north  India  which  is also an easy and quick recipe  to prepare when unexpected guests visit at  our homes. Good snacks for kids too for evening time. Today I am preparing here easy method of bread pakoda.  Normally its deep fried.  Here I present  shallow fried bread pakodas



Ingredient
For making batter
Kadala  mavu ( gram flour)              1 cup
Water                                               ½ cup
Turmeric powder                             ¼ tsp
Chilly powder                                   1 tsp
Garam masala powder                     ½ tsp
Coriander leaves finely chopped      2 tsp
Finely chopped onion                        1 small
Salt to taste
 Other ingredients
Bread slice big                                   4
Oil for frying




Method
Cut the bread slices into   whichever  shape you want.  Dip  each bread slices  into batter till  its fully coated to bread piece.
Heat little oil in pan  fry the coated bread pieces both side till it turn light brown and crispy.  Serve hot bread pakoda   with tomato sauce.
