Manga pulissery

This is a traditional Kerala recipe prepared with Half Ripe Mango and it’s a very special dish which is a part of “Onam Sadhya”.   It’s a very tasty curry prepared with curd and is special because of its sweet and sour taste.  Its really a tasty curry to try at home.







Ingredients
Mango                                1
Coconut grated                    ½ cup
Green chilly                          3
Curd                                   ¼ cup
Chilly powder                       ½ tsp
Turmeric powder                   ½ tsp
Jeera                                  1 tsp
Methi seed                          ½ tsp
Curry leaves few
Coconut oil                          ½ tsp
Red chily                             2

Method
Cut mangoes  add chilly powder and ¼ tsp turmeric powder add half class of water  cook till mangoes cooked.
For masala   grated coconut,  jeera, 1/4 turmeric,  green chilly and curd  grind into fine paste. Add this paste and salt   to cooked mangoes boil it for 5 min.
Then heat oil in kadai add methi seeds , curry leaves and red chilly fry for 2 min.  Then pour this mixer on  mango curry.  Tasty   mango pulliessry ready to serve.
