Raggi mudde(millets ball)


Popular dish of Karnataka. first time I tried it, tastes so good, I learnt this from my neighbour lecturer auntyJ

she used to say  always raggi mudde and soppu curry for breakfast. I had lot of raggi powder so thought of preparing  this.




 
Ingredients
Ragi flour                            1cup
Water                                   2cup
Salt to taste
Ghee                                      ½ tsp
Method
     Take one thick bottom  vessel   add 1 cup of water, salt and ghee  and boil it.
In another cup take 1 cup of ragi flour add  1cup of water and make a paste. Add this paste to boiling water  stir it well while adding  the paste. Keep stirring  till  dough become soft and smooth.   Close the lid and cook it for 5 min in low flame.
Dough should look like chappathi dough.
Off  the gas   let it cool it for sometime. Then make balls from this. Serve this any spicy curry.
