Surna upkari(yam stir fry)


Yam (chena)                  -- 1 cup finely sliced

Red chillies                    --  4 to 5

Crushed garlic               -- 5 to 6 flakes

Grated coconut            --  1 or 2 tbsp

Oil for cooking

Salt to taste

 Method

Heat oil in kadai, add crushed garlic fry till light brown then add broken red chillies fry for a minute then add sliced yam pieces and salt, add little water cover and cook till done. Then add grated coconut mix it well cook in a low flame for 5 minutes.
