PONNSA PATHOLI (JACKFRUIT ADA WITH COCONUT FILLING)



Its generally prepared using Turmeric leaves since I didn’t get it here I used Banana Leaves. 

Ingredients
 
Jack fruit  chopped                       2 cups
Grated  coconut                             half
Bombay rava(Semolina)                1 cup
Jaggery                                         ¼ cup
Pinch of salt
Banana leaves few
Ghee  for greasing

For Filling 
  
Coconut grated                          1 cup
Jaggery  grated                            ½ cup

Method.     
  
Grind  chopped jack fruit into fine paste.  Then add grated jaggery  and coconut into fine  paste do   not add water while grinding. 
Mix  rava to  jackfruit paste  add salt mix well.  Keep aside for 10 to 15 min.
 

Apply  ghee to banana leaves.


Put thick batter on it  spread  it from your hand.



For filling  mix jaggery  and grated coconut .


Put this filling on   spread  batter  






then fold it and steam it for 15 to 20 minutes.   
   Apply ghee on top of it and serve with Mango pickle
