white rice   1 cup
water          2 cups
channa dal  1tbsp
salt 1tsp
ghee           1 tbsp
green chilly    2or 3
grated coconut 1/4 cup

method. heat ghee in a cooker..add channa dal fry till light brown..then add green chilly  fry for 2 min add rice fry for 5 min,,then add salt and water..closed lid cook till 3 whistle.then allow to cool  open lid and add grated coconut mix well..serve with pickle...
