Instant oats idly

Oats are loaded in dietary fibres and have a range of healthy cholesterol lowering properties. Oats along with barley, are grains that contain more soluble fibre than any other grain like wheat and rice.  Oats idly is an instant and healthy and yummy breakfast.  Instead of having plain oats porridge I try different dishes with oats like dosa, upma, puttu, cutlets, idly etc adding different vegetable to the batter which make it more healthier and tastier.
Oats                            --  1 ½ cup
Upma Rawa              --   ¾ cup
Curd                            --  1 cup
Grated carrot           --   ½ cup
Eno salt                     --    ½ tsp
Salt to taste
Oil for greasing idly mould
Method
Dry roast oats for 2-3 minutes.  Let it cool for few minutes then grind into fine powder.  Dry roast rawa and keep aside.  Let it cool for some time.   Take a bowl add curd, salt, grated carrot, rava and oats powder mix well prepare thick batter (add water to adjust the consistency like idly batter ) from it.  Grease the idly mould and keep ready.  Add eno salt to the batter and mix quickly and pour in the mould and steam for 15 to 20 minutes.  After idly is cooked completely allow the idly moulds to cool off completely.   Using wet spoon remove each idly and serve with  any chutney or chutney powder.
